the nautilus light, based on the fibonacci sequence, a mathematic sequence occurring in nature, and dictating proportions, was alex’s first lighting design- launched in 2003

the light source is entirely encased within the sculptural form, and the design took over a year and a half of refinements before the final product was ready.
